Omg What are some good natural hair care porducts for natural 'coarse' hair?

went swimmin and boy was it a mess when i got out the pool, my hair isn't that long yet but when it gets wet it shrivels up and crinkles. But....what is like one of the best hair greases or products i can use on it for it to STAY moisturized and STAY shining and also the biggest problem of all...what product helps it lay down flat.? I've noticed when certain people have a perm and use gel their hair lays flat but when i use it on my hair which is natural is gets wavy. but anyway my hair seems to poof up if i try puttin it in a ponytail or whatever so what can make it lay flat or somethin.?By the way the last time i had a perm was last year, so yes im natural, but i'm going for the big chop in june. For those who don't knw what the bug chop is..its when you cut your hair down to your new growth.
