Backwards logic of Christianity: I exist, I didn't poof into existence...finish all the way to God?

Yes which begs the question -so how can a God do so? The alternative idea is he didn't - he always existed. Wow so he waited forever & ever & ever & ever to make us? That isn't even plausible if you really understand what 'forever' really means.
