How to hide videos and photo icon on iPhone/iPod Touch?

I already have my ipod jailbroken and just need to know what I need to do to hide videos and photo icons. I got the app "Poof" but it doesn't hide them. I have an 8 gb ipod touch and it's pointless to have photos and videos because it just take up so much space, but it's also annoying to have it on my springboard if im not using it. So i would appreciate anyone to lead me to the right direction on how to hide the video and photo icon that would be great. Thanks
