How can i make my hair look like it has a bump-it in?

I'm going on a baseball tourney for my brother and it will be hot where I'm going and i want my hair to be in a pony tail BUT, i want my hair to have a little poof and i don't want to go out and buy a bump-it I NEED HELP WHAT DO I DO?????
